The IMAMIA Center is Non–Profit organization and it will serve the greater Los Angeles community as a center for Religious, Educational and Social Services. All our activities are geared towards the betterment of the individual and families to help to develop a strong community and Shia leadership. Your support means a lot to us and goes a long way in providing these services.

Our Goals:
To serve and bring together the Shia Community of Greater Los Angeles in preparation of the coming of our 12th Imam. Our aspiration is not only to bring the community together but also to provide a place of purity for worship and prayer in all times.

IMAMIA CENTER has been doing an amazing job of preparing boxes of much need groceries to those in need with rice, oil, flour, garbanzo beans, sugar and other vegetables. They have assisted more than 250 families in the last 3 weeks. But the demand continues to grow each week, now up to 100 boxes/week.

QURAN CLASSES WITH TAJWEED

Tajweed is an Arabic word, which means to beautify or adorn something. In the context of the Quran recitation, Tajweed refers to a set of rules for proper pronunciation and recital of the Holy Quran. It also means giving every letter of the Qur’an its rights and dues of characteristics when we recite the Qur’an. Hence “Learn Quran Online with Tajweed” is very important for all Muslims brothers and sisters. Becuase it is obligatory upon every Muslim to observe Tajweed rules while recitation of the Holy Quran. It is a miserable fact that globally more than 75 percent of Muslims are not able to read the Quran with Tajweed. Most of then even dont know what Tajweed is? and why it is so important for correct recitation of the Quran? However, it is obligatory upon us to learn Quran with Tajweed and observe its rules, so that we recite the Quran in the way it was revealed. In the Holy Quran, Allah (SWT) says: “and recite the Qur’an clearly with tarteel (in a distinct and measured tone)”.
